Following our very long but worthwhile visit to the River Kwai, next day we settled for a later start (9 AM) and just a morning outing.
This time with the company of the same trusty guide we headed for the Chao Phraya river which runs through Bangkok.
There we boarded one of the traditional long tail boats for a tour of some of the canals leading off the river.
In the course of our tour we also passed the shed where the Royal Barges are moored and found it open to visitors, which is not always the case.
