It was an early start on our second day, the same minibus and tour guide collecting us from our hotel at 7 AM for our day long trip to the famous Bridge over the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi Province. The trip to Kanchanaburi takes around 3 to 4 hours, the variance depending mostly on how long it takes to get though the Bangkok traffic. We were quite lucky in that respect, and again benefited from having a personal tour guide. The story of our day there is told in the pictures below.
