Touring Around Pattaya

Pattaya was not forgotten in our visitors two week stay in Thailand.

In fact they spent their first week here before moving on to Bangkok and the very hectic tour schedule detailed in the other pages of this edition.

We decided to do it in this order so as to give our visitors time to rest and acclimatise (having just come here from the depths of the UK winter).

But we didn’t let them just sit here in Pattaya and dangle their feet in the sea.

On the contrary we took the opportunity to show them several of the many tourist attractions on offer in our own fair city.

Most of these have been covered at one time or another in various previous editions of our publications, so we have here just presented a summary of each of the places visited.

In addition to these places we also paid a visit to the relatively recently created Alangkarn theatre, but as this was an evening event and also photography inside the main theatre was prohibited we do not have any pictures to illustrate this event.

We would however heartily recommend it as an addition to the Pattaya tourist scene as it is a most spectacular show displaying the history of Thailand in song, dance, complete with the most amazing sound and lighting effects.

Some of the other places we visited in and around Pattaya are shown in the photographs below.
