Welcome a special edition of The Pattaya Otter Pictorial.
As we informed you a few months ago, it is our intention now to only publish a full edition of the Pictorial when the amount of available new material justifies it. In between we will keep you informed as to life and events here via The Pattaya Otter Diary.
With the recent visit to Thailand of some friends from the U.K. who being on their first trip to this part of the world naturally wished to see the major tourist attractions in and around the capital Bangkok, it gave The Pattaya Otter a chance to revisit the well known tourist trail, last trod more years ago than he wishes to count.
This therefore has given us sufficient scope to present to you, our readers, a new edition of the full pictorial featuring most of the places visited in a very hectic and all too short two week period.
These popular attractions are of course well known to our readers who may be ‘old Thailand hands’ so this edition will be primarily of interest to our overseas readers who have not yet come to these shores.
But we hope also that some local readers, and some visitors of bygone years may find fond remembrances in some of the images, and may perhaps be tempted to revisit them.
After all in a rapidly changing world, these historical locations are places that are timeless and constant, and above all a chance to remind ourselves that there is more to Thailand than the current popular images would portray.
